Crafted from a special high-silicon content aluminum alloy, these pistons offer the same reliability as original equipment while providing superior resistance and enhanced performance. The piston's smooth profile promotes regular airflow and perfect flame propagation within the combustion chamber.
Some piston skirts are treated with a molybdenum disulfide coating applied via screen printing. This treatment further reduces friction, contributing to improved performance and extended durability.
Engineered in Italy by Athena's R&D department, each piston undergoes rigorous testing on engine dynamometers and on the track to validate its performance under extreme conditions. The included piston rings, produced in Japan with wear-resistant coatings, minimize friction with the cylinder for higher performance and longevity.
