Athena Forged Piston Kit B - 77mm Bore

Experience enhanced performance and reliability with the Athena Forged Piston Kit. Crafted using advanced reverse extrusion and cutting-edge CNC machining, these pistons achieve dimensional tolerances of less than 0.01 mm. Made from a special high-performance aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, they offer exceptional durability and performance comparable to original equipment (OE) pistons. The smooth piston profile promotes regular airflow and efficient flame propagation.

Select Athena pistons feature a molybdenum disulfide coating applied via screen printing to further reduce friction, boosting performance and longevity. Each piston is engineered in Italy by the Athena R&D department, rigorously tested on engine dynamometer benches and on track in extreme conditions to ensure the highest quality and reliability.

This piston kit includes the piston, pin, circlips, and piston rings. The piston rings are produced in Japan with wear-resistant coatings (PVD or chromium nitride) for increased retention and durability, ensuring a perfect seal against the cylinder liner even at low tangential loads. All components are replaceable and interchangeable.
