Manufactured by leading Japanese OEM factories, these rod kits are designed to meet exact OEM specifications, ensuring a direct fit and a cost efficient solution for engine maintenance and rebuilding.\n\nEvery ProX connecting rod is double forged on dedicated forgings. This specialized process maintains superior strength, durability, and dimensional consistency through improved grain flow. To further enhance reliability and lifespan, each rod undergoes shot peening and barrelling. These processes improve the surface texture, eliminate residual stress, and smoothly blend forging surfaces to withstand the rigors of high intensity operation.\n\nProX connecting rod kits are designed to perform even under the most extreme conditions. The inclusion of precisely located oiling slots maximizes lower rod lubrication, which significantly extends the life of the big end bearing.\n\n### Key Features\n\n \n- Precision Engineering: Manufactured to strict OEM specifications for a reliable direct replacement.\n \n- Advanced Forging: Double forged construction ensures exceptional strength and consistent grain flow.\n \n- Surface Treatment: Shot peened and barrelled to reduce residual stress and improve overall surface finish.\n \n- Enhanced Lubrication: Optimized oiling slots ensure maximum bearing lubrication to extend the service life of the assembly.\n \n- Comprehensive Kit: Includes the connecting rod, crankpin, big end bearing, small end bearing, and necessary washers for a complete installation.","weightGrams":null,"fitments":[],"collections":[],"links":{"page":"https://www.2brosparts.com/products/yamaha-yzf-400-1998-1999-wrf-400-1998-2000-prox-con-rod","buyOneNow":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent/checkout/GB/a842eb155024:1","basketWithThis":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent/basket/GB/a842eb155024:1"}},"market":{"country":"GB","countryName":"United Kingdom","locale":"en-gb","currency":"GBP","exchangeRateFromGbp":1,"pricesIncludeUkVat":true,"checkoutTax":null,"delivery":[{"name":"Standard","description":"Orders £15.00–£59.99 · 2–4 business days","carrier":null,"estimatedDays":"2–4 business days","price":{"amount":4.99,"formatted":"£4.99"},"free":false,"minimumOrder":{"amount":0,"formatted":"£0.00","gbp":0},"weightGrams":null},{"name":"Standard","description":"Orders £60.00 and up · 2–4 business days","carrier":null,"estimatedDays":"2–4 business days","price":{"amount":0,"formatted":"£0.00"},"free":true,"minimumOrder":{"amount":60,"formatted":"£60.00","gbp":60},"weightGrams":null}],"storeUrl":"https://www.2brosparts.com"},"navigate":{"start":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent","search":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent/search/GB/{words+joined+with+plus}"},"howToBuy":{"summary":"Build a basket for the shopper and give them one checkout link.
