Designed to meet the demands of high-performance four-stroke engines, this kit provides an essential power boost by increasing displacement. Engineered for reliability and precision, it is the ideal choice for riders looking to maximize torque and horsepower.\n\n### Advanced Forged Construction\n\nEach Vertex piston is forged from high-quality 2618 aluminum alloy. This material selection ensures superior structural integrity, allowing the piston to withstand the extreme heat and high pressures found in modern racing engines without compromising durability.\n\n### Precision Engineering and Coating\n\nTo ensure peak performance and longevity, these pistons feature a specialized Molybdenum Disulphide (MOS2) coating on the skirt. This advanced coating serves two primary purposes: it significantly reduces wear during the critical engine break-in period and minimizes friction during high-RPM operation.\n\n### Key Features\n\n \n- Increased Displacement: Designed as a big bore upgrade to 470cc for improved engine output.\n \n- High-Strength Alloy: Forged 2618 aluminum construction for maximum resistance to stress and fatigue.\n \n- MOS2 Skirt Coating: Reduces internal friction and accelerates the break-in process.\n \n- Optimal Sizing: Available in precise sizing variations to ensure a perfect cylinder-to-piston clearance.\n \n- Enhanced Performance: Minimizes blow-by and oil consumption for consistent engine efficiency.","weightGrams":null,"fitments":[],"collections":[],"links":{"page":"https://www.2brosparts.com/products/yamaha-yzf-450-2010-2017-99mm-470cc-big-bore","buyOneNow":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent/checkout/GB/77cddea2bac1:1","basketWithThis":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent/basket/GB/77cddea2bac1:1"}},"market":{"country":"GB","countryName":"United Kingdom","locale":"en-gb","currency":"GBP","exchangeRateFromGbp":1,"pricesIncludeUkVat":true,"checkoutTax":null,"delivery":[{"name":"Standard","description":"Orders £15.00–£59.99 · 2–4 business days","carrier":null,"estimatedDays":"2–4 business days","price":{"amount":4.99,"formatted":"£4.99"},"free":false,"minimumOrder":{"amount":0,"formatted":"£0.00","gbp":0},"weightGrams":null},{"name":"Standard","description":"Orders £60.00 and up · 2–4 business days","carrier":null,"estimatedDays":"2–4 business days","price":{"amount":0,"formatted":"£0.00"},"free":true,"minimumOrder":{"amount":60,"formatted":"£60.00","gbp":60},"weightGrams":null}],"storeUrl":"https://www.2brosparts.com"},"navigate":{"start":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent","search":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent/search/GB/{words+joined+with+plus}"},"howToBuy":{"summary":"Build a basket for the shopper and give them one checkout link.
