These pistons are produced using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by a heat treatment process for material refinement. Machining is performed on CNC machines with diamond tooling to achieve specific surface finishes. Each Vertex piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. The pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and friction reduction, and also feature a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness, surface porosity, and enhanced coating durability.
