Manufactured by leading Japanese OEM factories, these rod kits are designed to meet or exceed exact OEM specifications, ensuring reliable operation and a precise fit for your engine rebuild.\n\nBuilt for durability, the ProX connecting rod is double forged on dedicated tooling. This specialized manufacturing process creates improved grain flow, which results in superior strength, long-lasting durability, and excellent dimensional consistency.\n\n### Key Features and Performance Benefits\n\n \n- Advanced Surface Treatment: Each rod undergoes a rigorous shot-peening and barreling process to improve surface texture. This technique effectively eliminates residual stress and creates a smooth finish across all forging surfaces.\n \n- Optimized Oiling System: The connecting rod features precisely located oiling slots designed to maximize lubrication to the big-end bearing. This significantly extends the lifespan of your bearings, even when operating under extreme conditions.\n \n- Comprehensive Kit: Each ProX Crankpin Connecting Rod Kit arrives as a complete package, including the connecting rod, crankpin, big-end bearing, small-end bearing, and necessary washers for a professional-grade installation.\n \n- OEM Quality: Developed as a direct, reliable replacement for original components, ProX parts are synonymous with high-standard maintenance for dirt bikes, ATVs, and powersports vehicles.\n\nWhether you are performing a routine engine overhaul or a high-performance rebuild, the ProX Connecting Rod Kit offers the reliability and strength required to maintain peak engine performance and longevity.","weightGrams":null,"fitments":[],"collections":[],"links":{"page":"https://www.2brosparts.com/products/honda-xr-400-1996-2004-prox-con-rod","buyOneNow":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent/checkout/GB/31d87aab505f:1","basketWithThis":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent/basket/GB/31d87aab505f:1"}},"market":{"country":"GB","countryName":"United Kingdom","locale":"en-gb","currency":"GBP","exchangeRateFromGbp":1,"pricesIncludeUkVat":true,"checkoutTax":null,"delivery":[{"name":"Standard","description":"Orders £15.00–£59.99 · 2–4 business days","carrier":null,"estimatedDays":"2–4 business days","price":{"amount":4.99,"formatted":"£4.99"},"free":false,"minimumOrder":{"amount":0,"formatted":"£0.00","gbp":0},"weightGrams":null},{"name":"Standard","description":"Orders £60.00 and up · 2–4 business days","carrier":null,"estimatedDays":"2–4 business days","price":{"amount":0,"formatted":"£0.00"},"free":true,"minimumOrder":{"amount":60,"formatted":"£60.00","gbp":60},"weightGrams":null}],"storeUrl":"https://www.2brosparts.com"},"navigate":{"start":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent","search":"https://www.2brosparts.com/api/agent/search/GB/{words+joined+with+plus}"},"howToBuy":{"summary":"Build a basket for the shopper and give them one checkout link.
